Fotoknit (“we”, “us”) runs the website at fotoknit.com. We try to collect as little about you as possible. This page explains what we do collect, why, and the choices you have.
You can read the site without giving us anything at all. If you send an enquiry using the form, the name, email address and message you type are emailed to us so that we can reply and prepare your quotation. That enquiry is not stored in any database on this website — it exists only as an email in our mailbox, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
We do not take payment on this site and we hold no card or bank details. Payments, when you choose to make one, are handled entirely by PayPal or Cash App under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except as described on this page.
The site itself sets no cookies of its own. The enquiry form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie or read basic browser information in order to tell a person from a robot. Our advertising partners, described below, may also set their own cookies.
We show advertisements through Google AdSense to help cover the cost of running the site.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. This does not identify you personally.
This is a general-audience site about handknitted clothing and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
